On each drawing be sure to add (in this order): Drawing Title or Project Title (if you have one) Drawing Type (e.g. plan, section, elevation etc) Scale North Point Arrow Drawing Key (if relevant) The label should not draw attention. Place it in a small font at the corner of your page. (10pt recommended, 14pt max) Normally the page faces north. You will need a North Point Arrow showing what orientation your work is on the page. Don’t put too much text in your drawings and leave space for your labels.
