When you visit your site take 100 photos and then some more. Photograph everything even slightly unusual. Visit your site during the day, night, and evening. Oxford Circus is scarily empty at 3am. Your site changes. Observing this will give you new insights. Taking many photos allows you to pick up (through images) things you may have missed about the site and it also means you might not have to visit again. Drawing on site? - Site sketches can be avoided. You can get much out of redrawing or post processing a photographs/ videos (especially if you’ve taken plenty). Manipulating the images can recreate the same level of exploration done as drawing it.
